The signal was developed using HRP-DAB based detection method which followed counterstaining of the nuclei with hematoxylin. This representative section shows a strong positivity of Calreticulin in the follicular epithelial cells, wherein the signal was found to be very intense in the perinuclear region of the cells which correlates well with Endoplasmic reticulum localization of this protein. The para-follicular cells, endothelial cells of blood vessels (not the RBCs though) and the loose connective tissue in the section showed a weak cytoplasmic staining. ![Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: TARDBP Antibody (3H8) [NBP1-92695] - NBP1-92695 was used to stain a section of formalin fixed adult rat brain, specifically the hippocampus. Hippocampal neuron nuclei are stained strongly. Chicken antibody to GFAP (NBP1-05198, green) shows the processes of astrocytic glial cells. Nuclei of all cells are revealed with DAPI DNA stain (blue). The TARDBP (3H8) antibody stains neuronal nuclei strongly and the nuclei of some non-neuronal cells much more weakly.
