Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-29544]-Detection of human UBR2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate from Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-UBR2 antibody used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. UBR2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-UBR2 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated UBR2, was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background

Proteolysis by the ubiquitin-proteasome system controls the concentration of many regulatory proteins.
