Background

SG2NA was identified as a human cancer autoantigen and has now been implicated in vesicular trafficking and signal transduction. It is highly related to striatin and zinedin. It is a scaffolding protein that binds PP2A A and C subunits as well as the human homolog of the yeast protein, Mob1, which has been implicated in control of mitotic progression in yeast. It also binds calmodulin and appears to modulate PP2A activity.

SG2NA antibody used for WB, IP and ICC-IF. WB performed in several experiments involving NIH3T3 cells, Neuro2A cells and mouse brain. IP performed on Neuro2A cells and Mouse brain. ICC-IF performed on Neuro2A cells - fixed in 3.7% PFA/10% FBS media for 15 min, permeabilized with 0.2% Triton X-100 in 1X PBS for 15 min, primary used at 1:100 dilution with 4C ON incubation. WB and ICC-IF also performed on Neuro2A cells depleted from SG2NA with SG2NA-shRNA constructs.
