Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: PPP2CB Antibody (SN70-08) [NBP2-67688] - Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse heart tissue using anti-PPP2CB antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 8.0-8.4) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 5% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (1/50) for 30 minutes at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Background

PPP2CB also known as Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit beta isoform, is a 309 amino acid protein that is 36 kDa, localizes in cytoplasm and nucleus, is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division and modulates the activity of phosphorylase B kinase casein kinase 2, mitogen-stimulated S6 kinase, and MAP-2 kinase.
