Background

p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) gamma is a serine-threonine protein kinase that is also known as p38 gamma , MAPK12, stress-activated protein kinase-3 (SAPK3) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase-6 (ERK6).
