• Application Notes: WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 90 kDa band in human liver and ovary lysates after 0.3 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 117 kDa band according to NP_955356.1and NP_001096123.1. The 90 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

Background

OTUD4 is a gene that codes for a protein with four isoforms, with lengths of 1113, 210, 145, and 1048 amino acids and weights of approximately 124, 24, 17, and 117 kDa respectively. OTUD4 has been shown to have interactions with AGO2, ATG12, BAG5, DSG1, and FXR2.
