Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-OGFOD1 antibody NBP2-76391 used for WB at 1:1000. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Immunoprecipitation: OGFOD1 Antibody [NBP2-76391] - Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-OGFOD1 antibody NBP2-76391 used for IP at 40 ul per reaction. OGFOD1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-OGFOD1 antibody NBP2-76392. For blotting immunoprecipitated OGFOD1, NBP2-76391 was used at 1:2500. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

OGFOD1 is a prolyl 3-hydroxylase that catalyzes 3-hydroxylation of 'Pro-62' of small ribosomal subunit uS12 (RPS23), thereby regulating protein translation termination efficiency. Involved in stress granule formation.
