NOPP140 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-NOPP140 antibody NBP1-22982, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated NOPP140, NBP1-22981 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.

Background

NOPP140 (140 kDa nucleolar phosphoprotein) is implicated to play a role in ribosome assembly and the regulation of rRNA transcription. It has been observed to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm and may also be important to nucleolar structural organization.
