LARP1 Antibody

Western Blot: LARP1 Antibody [NBP1-19129] - Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 mcg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Affinity purified rabbit anti-LARP1 used for WB at 0.04 mcg/ml (A) and 1 mcg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 mcg/mg lysate. LARP1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-LARP1 antibody NBP1-19128, which recognizes an upstream epitope.

Background

LARP1 (la-related protein 1) is part of a family of proteins that bears a La motif. The La motif was first identified in the La protein which was isolated as an autoreactive antigen in patients afflicted with systemic lupus erythematosus. Like the La protein, LARP proteins appear to be RNA-binding proteins, and are proposed to play a role in translation elongation and termination. Alternative names for LARP1 include la ribonucleoprotein domain family member 1, LARP, and KIAA0731.
