Background

Canalicular ectonucleoside NTPDase responsible for the main hepatic NTPDase activity. Ectonucleoside NTPDasescatalyze the hydrolyzis of gamma- and beta-phosphate residues of nucleotides, playing a central role in concentrationof extracellular nucleotides. Has activity toward ATP, ADP, UTP and UDP, but not toward AMP
