Western Blot: CLASP2 Antibody [NBP1-21395] - Detection of Human CLASP2 by Western Blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 ug) from HeLa and 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CLASP2 antibody NBP1-21395 used for WB at 0.1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Immunoprecipitation: CLASP2 Antibody [NBP1-21395] - Detection of human CLASP2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-CLASP2 antibody NBP1-21395 (lot NBP1-21395-2) used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. CLASP2 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (NBP1-21395-1) and rabbit anti-CLASP2 antibody NBP1-21394. For blotting immunoprecipitated CLASP2, NBP1-21395 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Background

CLASP2 (cytoplasmic linker-associated protein 2) localizes to the kinetochore where it regulates spindle microtubule dynamics and is required for proper chromosome alignment and segregation. CLASP2 is also known as CLIP-associated protein 2, hOrbit2, and KIAA0627.
