Apolipoprotein A-I was isolated from mouse plasma by density gradient centrifugation followed by HPLC purification.
Typically less than 1% cross reactivity against other types of apoLipoprotein was detected by ELISA.This reacts with mouse apoLipoprotein A-I and has negligible cross-reactivity with Type A-II, B, C-I, C-II, C-III, E and J apoLipoproteins.
Immunogen affinity purified

Anti-apoLipoprotein antibodies have been used for indirect trapping ELISA for quantitation of antigen in serum using a standard curve, for immunoprecipitation and for western blotting for highly sensitive qualitative analysis. Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence was reported in scientific literature.
Human reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID:32796843). Human reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID: 26360112).. Specific cross-reaction with Apolipoprotein A-I from other species has not been determined Non-specific cross-reaction with other human serum proteins is negligible.

Alternate Names for Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 Antibody
At least 9 distinct polymorphic forms of apolipoproteins are known. The apolipoproteins act as stabilizers of the intact lipoprotein particles. Quantitative measurements of HDL, LDL and VLDL particles in human serum are often used to estimate an individuals' relative risk of coronary heart disease. In addition, quantitative immunological measurements of certain apolipoproteins (especially A-1 and B) have been suggested to be more accurate estimators of coronary heart disease than measurements of lipoprotein particles (especially HDL and LDL). This apo-lipoprotein is derived from human plasma by density gradient ultracentrifugation and HPLC.
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
