Western Blot: STAT2 Antibody (JF0884) [NBP2-67168] - Analysis of STAT2 on A431 cell lysates with Rabbit anti-STAT2 antibody at 1/500 dilution. Lysates/proteins at 10 ug/Lane. Predicted band size: 98 kDa Observed band size: 105 kDa Exposure time: 1 minute; 6% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody at 1/500 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:300,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: STAT2 Antibody (JF0884) [NBP2-67168] - Staining STAT2 in SW480 cells (green). The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). Cells were fixed in paraformaldehyde, permeabilised with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS.

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: STAT2 Antibody (JF0884) [NBP2-67168] - Analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse skin tissue using anti-STAT2 antibody. Counter stained with hematoxylin.

Background

Stat-2 is a latent transcription factor that functions both as a signal transducer in the cytoplasm and an activator of transcription in the nucleus. Stat-2 is one of seven members of the Signal transducer and activators of transcription (Stats) family. Stat-2 is phosphorylated at Tyr690 by JAKs(1-3). Additionally, upon activation, Stat-2 will form a multiprotein DNA-binding complex with Stat-1 and ISGF3
