SETD1A Antibody (PH00-02)

Western Blot: SETD1A Antibody (PH00-02) [NBP3-32443] - Western blot analysis of SETD1A on 293T cell lysates with Rabbit anti-SETD1A antibody (NBP3-32443) at 1/1,000 dilution. Lysates/proteins at 10 ug/Lane. Predicted band size: 186 kDa Observed band size: 300 kDa Exposure time: 2 minutes; 6% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32443) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:300,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Flow Cytometry: SETD1A Antibody (PH00-02) [NBP3-32443] - Flow cytometric analysis of 293T cells labeling SETD1A. Cells were fixed and permeabilized.Then stained with the primary antibody (NBP3-32443, 1ug/ml) (red) compared with Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (green). After incubation of the primary antibody at +4℃ for an hour, the cells were stained with a iFluor™ 488 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at +4℃. Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).

Background

SET1A is a component of a histone methyltransferase (HMT) complex that produces mono-, di-, and trimethylated histone H3 at Lys4. The complex is the analog of the S. cerevisiae Set1/COMPASS complex (Lee and Skalnik, 2005 [PubMed 16253997]). Also see SET1B (MIM 611055).[supplied by OMIM]
