Background

SALPR/GPCR135 is a relaxin receptor. SALPR has been shown to be expressed in human brain, particularly the substantia nigra and pituitary. SALPR is also expressed at lower levels in peripheral tissues. An EST has been identified from a human heart/melanocyte/uterus library.
