Background

Prostaglandin E receptor EP4 is a Prostanoid Receptor with a relaxing effect on smooth muscle. It may play an important role in regulating renal hemodynamics, intestinal epithelial transport, adrenal aldosterone secretion, and uterine function. EP4 has been reported to be expressed in blood, colon, immune tissue, intestine, kidney, lung, ovary, skin, and uterus. ESTs have been isolated from a wide range of human tissue libraries.

  Prostaglandin E Receptor EP4 antibody used for ICC-IF and FLOW applications performed on RAMOS, MHH-PRE B, NALM-6, KOPN-8, MOLT-4, JURKAT, THP1, U937 and Human lymphoblastoid cell lines (LCLs). In ICC-IF, the cells were fixed in 4%PFA for 15 minutes RT, primary used at 10ug/ml concentration, goat anti-rabbit IgG conjugated with AlexaFluor 488 dye used at 0.4ug/ml (Immunostaining images shown in Figure 1C). For FLOW, the cells were fixed in 4% PFA, permeabilized with 0.5% Triton X solution, Incubated with primary 5ug/ml concentration, AlexaFluor 488 conjugated secondary followed by washing and detection on FACScalibur (Figure 1D).
