Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 18.6 kDa band according to NP_037481.1 The 45 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

Background

The NENF gene encodes a neurotrophic factor that may play a role in neuron differentiation and development. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 12. Alternate splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. (provided by RefSeq)
