Mucolipin 3 Antibody

Western Blot: Mucolipin 3 Antibody [NBP2-80438] - Analysis of Mucolipin 3 on 293 cell lysate. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% BSA in PBS for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP2-80438, 1/500) was used in 5% BSA at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:5,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Flow Cytometry: Mucolipin 3 Antibody [NBP2-80438] - Analysis of Mucolipin 3 was done on F9 cells. The cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with the primary antibody (1/50) (red). After incubation of the primary antibody at room temperature for an hour, the cells were stained with a Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution for 30 minutes. Unlabeled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).

Background

SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in the cochlea; particularly in the inner and outer hair cells. DISEASE: Defects in Mcoln3 are the cause of the varitin-waddler (Va) phenotype. Classical Va mice exhibit early-onset hearing loss, vestibular defects, pigmentation abnormalities and perinatal lethality. The phenotype varitin-waddler Jackcon (Va-J), which arose in a cross segregating for Va, is similar but less severe.
