Background
The class II cytokine receptor family includes 12 members, 11 of which combine as various heterodimers to transduce signals across the cellular membrane for 27 cytokines. These cytokines are divided into four structurally related groups: six cytokines of the IL-10 family, 17 type I IFNs, one type II IFN and three IFN-lamda. IL-20 is a member of the IL-10 family of cytokines that has been shown to be upregulated in psoriatic skin. The receptor for IL-20 (IL-20R) exists as a dimer consisting of IL-20Ralpha and IL-20Rbeta. IL-20R also functions as a receptor for IL-19, IL-24 and IL-26. It is highly expressed in skin, brain and testis. IL-20, IL-20Ralpha and IL-20Rbeta all have higher expression levels in psoriatic lesional (LS) skin than in nonlesional (NL) skin, suggesting a role for these proteins as potential therapeutic targets. IL-20 can induce signal transducer and activator of transcription (Stat) activation through IL-20R.

What is the time of incubation for coloration?
- This is a product we distribute for Abnova. According to their protocol, they do not recommend a specific time for incubation, but suggest monitoring your wells for color change. See excerpt below: After the 4th wash step, add 100 ul of TMB substrate solution into each well and incubate at room temperature for color development. The microplate should be kept out of direct light by either covering with an opaque object or putting it into a dark room. Closely monitor the color development as some wells may turn blue very quickly depending on analyte and/or detection antibody-HRP concentrations. Once the blue color has ceased to develop further, immediately add 100 ul of Stop Solution to each well being used. The color in the wells should immediately change from blue to yellow. In general these color developments typically take about 5-10 minutes. Here is a link to Abnova's full protocol for your reference.

wondering what the difference is between your quantikine and duo set elisas?
- Usually the duosets do not have the entire kit such as plates and buffers, whereas the other kits are complete.
