Alternate Names for HCN3 Recombinant Protein Antigen

  • HCN3
  • hyperpolarization activated cyclic nucleotide-gated potassium channel 3
  • KIAA1535
  • KIAA1535MGC131493
  • potassium/sodium hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 3

Background

FUNCTION: Putative hyperpolarization-activated ion channel exhibiting weak selectivity for potassium over sodium ions. SUBUNIT: The potassium channel is probably composed of a homo- or heterotetrameric complex of pore-forming subunits. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. DOMAIN: The segment S4 is probably the voltage-sensor and is characterized by a series of positively charged amino acids at every third position.

Limitations

Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
