GCN2 Antibody (JA03-83)

Western Blot: GCN2 Antibody (JA03-83) [NBP2-66865] - Western blot analysis of GCN2 on SKOV-3 cell lysates. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% BSA in PBS for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/500) was used in 5% BSA at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1:5,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: GCN2 Antibody (JA03-83) [NBP2-66865] - Staining GCN2 in MCF-7 cells (green). The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). Cells were fixed in paraformaldehyde, permeabilised with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS.

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: GCN2 Antibody (JA03-83) [NBP2-66865] - Analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue using anti-GCN2 antibody. Counter stained with hematoxylin.

Flow Cytometry: GCN2 Antibody (JA03-83) [NBP2-66865] - Analysis of MCF-7 cells with GCN2 antibody at 1/100 dilution (red) compared with an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).

Background

GCN2 is a sensor of amino acid deprivation. GCN2 was recently found to regulate lipid metabolism during leucine deprivation in addition to regulating amino acid metabolism.
