Background

SDHA is an important component in the citric acid cycle and respiratory chain. SDHA converts succinate to fumarate, transfers electrons in the respiratory chain, and ultimately transfers electrons to ubiquinone. SDHA is localized within the mitochondrial inner membrane. Mutations in the gene have been associated with Leigh syndrome and Huntington's disease. However, SDHA also appears to have tumor suppressor effects.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
