Background
The ADF (actin-depolymerizing factor)/cofilin family (see MIM 601442) is composed of stimulus-responsive mediators of actin dynamics. ADF/cofilin proteins are inactivated by kinases such as LIM domain kinase-1 (LIMK1; MIM 601329). The SSH family appears to play a role in actin dynamics by reactivating ADF/cofilin proteins in vivo (Niwa et al., 2002 [PubMed 11832213]).[supplied by OMIM]
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Lysates are

-
Can this product, SSH2 overexpressed cell lysate (H00085464-T01), be directly used to screen the small molecule inhibitors for SSH2 in enzymatic reaction?
- H00085464-T01 is produced by a Taiwanese company called Abnova We do no in-house testing or development of their products. This product is a lysate of SSH2 overexpressed in 293T cells. The buffer is 50 mM Tris-HCl, 2% SDS, 10% glycerol, 300 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 0.01% Bromophenol blue so the protein will not be active, so is most likely not suitable for your screen.
