Background

RPS6KC1 shows homology to the S6 kinase family of serine/threonine kinases. It is a sphingosine kinase-1 (SPHK1)-binding protein that may be involved in transmitting sphingosine 1 phosphate (SPP)-mediated signaling into the cell.
