Background

Protein phosphatase 2C (PP2C) is a family of serine/threonine specific protein phosphatases. PP2C is a 42 kDa monomeric enzyme with broad substrate specificity and its activity is depended upon divalent cations (e.g. magnesium) (1). In mammals, three members of PP2C family are known; PP2C -alpha, -beta, and -gamma. PP2C

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
