Alternate Names for Recombinant Human ING2 His Protein
Background
ING2 is similar to ING1, a tumor suppressor protein that can bind TP53, inhibit cell growth, and induce apoptosis. This protein binds phosphoinositides (PtdInPs) at its plant homeodomain (PHD) domain and it acts as a PtdInPs receptor. PtdInPs binding regulates the ability of this protein to activate TP53 and TP53-dependent apoptosis.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are
guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.
