HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with (A) human GPR83 or (B) irrelevant protein, and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human GPR83 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10943) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (F0101B). Quadrant markers were set based on Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (MAB002). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-associated Proteins protocol.

Background

GPR83 is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor most homologous to the tachykinin and neuropeptide Y receptors. GPR83 is involved in the conversion of naive CD4+CD25− T-cells into CD4+Foxp3+ Treg cells during inflammatory immune responses in vivo.
