Background

CCDC14 is a gene that code for a protein that has six isoforms, with lengths of 953, 753, 793, 455, 794, and 912 amino acids and weights of approximately 106, 84, 88, 51, 89, and 102 kDa respectively. Current research is being done on diseases and disorders related to this gene including ataxia and schizophrenia. CCDC14 has also been shown to have interactions with CALM1, CALM2, CALM4, EBQLN4, and MAGEA11.
