• Application Notes: WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 22 kDa band in lysates of A431, HeLa and HEK293 after 0.3 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 28.2 kDa band according to NP_067028.1. The 22 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

Background

This protein is a member of the Rho family of GTPases. This protein can activate PAK1 and JNK1, and can induce filopodium formation and stress fiber dissolution. It may also mediate the effects of WNT1 signaling in the regulation of cell morphology, cytoskeletal organization, and cell proliferation.
