Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP): RAP30 Antibody [NBP2-20076] - Cross-linked ChIP was performed with HeLa chromatin extract and 5 ug of either control rabbit IgG or anti-TFIIF antibody. The precipitated DNA was detected by PCR with primer set targeting to GAPDH promoter or MyoD.

Background

TFIIF is a general transcription initiation factor that binds to RNA polymerase II and helps to recruit it to the initiation complex in collaboration with TFIIB. It promotes transcription elongation.
