Western Blot: FRAS1 (Fraser syndrome 1) Antibody [NBP2-59101] - Whole cell lysate (50 ug) from HeLa, 293T, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-FRAS1 antibody used for WB at 1:1000. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Immunoprecipitation: FRAS1 (Fraser syndrome 1) Antibody [NBP2-59101] - Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-FRAS1 antibody used for IP at 20 ul per reaction. FRAS1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-FRAS1 antibody BL22247. For blotting immunoprecipitated FRAS1, was used at 1:100. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background

Found in a linear fashion underlying the epidermis and the basal surface of other epithelia in embryos. Highly expressed in the apical ectodermal ridge of the limb buds from E10.5-E12.5 and expression was also detected in the interdigital spaces at E14.5. Found in cells just underlying the surface epithelium of the entire embryo and in the linings of the peritoneal cavity and dorsal aorta. At E12 detected in the mesonephric duct and in the lens.
