Background
ZCCHC14 is a gene that codes for a protein with two isoforms, with lengths of 949 and 962 amino acids and weights of approximately 100 and 102 kDa respectively. Current research is being done on diseases and disorders related to this gene including vesicoureteral reflux, lymphedema, and microcephaly. ZCCHC14 has also been shown to have interactions with NFIC, NFIX, ELAVL1, and SMAD3.
