Background

THRSP is encoded by this gene is similar to the gene product of S14, a rat gene whose expression is limited to liver and adipose tissue and is controlled by nutritional and hormonal factors. This gene has been shown to be expressed in liver and adipocytes, particularly in lipomatous modules. It is also found to be expressed in lipogenic breast cancers, which suggests a role in controlling tumor lipid metabolism. [provided by RefSeq]

Molarity Calculator

Calculate the mass, volume, or concentration required for a solution.

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)

As an example, if the molecular weight of a compound is 197.13 g/mol and the desired concentration is 10 mM for 10 ml of water based stock solution, the required mass would be = 19.713 (value determined by this calculator).
