• Application Notes: WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 75 kDa band in human brain (amygdala, hippocampus, substantia nigra) lysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 115 kDa band according to NP_116753.1 and of 113 kDa band according to NP_055337.1, the smallest reported isoforms. The 75 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
