The RBM33 gene encodes a RNA-binding protein 33 that in isoform 1 is 1,170 amino acids long and nearly 130 kDA and in isoform 2 is 268 amino acids long at 30 kDA. RBM33 interacts with genes: TERF1, TERF2, GRB2, SUMO1, and SUMO3. It has been researched regarding its role in filariasis.
