Background
P2Y receptors are a family of purinergic G
protein-coupled receptors which belong to the class A family of GPCRs. They are
membrane proteins, preferentially activated by nucleotides such as ADP, ATP,
UTP, UDP and UDP-glucose. This P2Y receptor is thought to be a receptor for
purines. While there is little known about the activity of this specific
receptor, P2Y receptors mediate various biological functions such as
vasodilation, blood clotting and immune responses.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
