Improved survival&blood–brain barrier function post pneumococcal infection in mice by anti-HIF-1 alpha treatment using echinomycin. e Immunofluorescence staining for HIF-1 alpha , BBB permeability&junctional markers in the echinomycin&vehicle groups at the survival end point.
