Background
Urotensin-II R (UR2R)
belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor 1 family. UR2R
is a high affinity receptor for urotensin-2 and urotensin-2B. The
activity of UR2R is mediated by a G protein that activates a
phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. It is most abundantly
expressed in the heart and pancreas. Human UR2R has been correlated with
cortico-adrenal carcinoma proliferation.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are
guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
