• Application Notes: IHC: NBP2-29389 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after proteinase K antigen retrieval. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity.

Background

GPR27 is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand. GPR27 is a member of the SREB (Super-Conserved Receptor Expressed in Brain) family of GPCRs. GPR27 has been reported to be expressed in several areas of human and rat CNS (Matsumoto et al., 2000), as well as in genital organs. ESTs have been isolated from brain libraries.
