Background

RAB40A, also known as Ras-related protein Rab-40A, consists of a 277 amino acid isoform that is 31 kDa, and is involved in the degradation of target proteins as a portion of the SCF-like ECS E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. There is no current disease research involving RAB40A. The protein has not been found to interact with other proteins, but is linked to the processes of signal transduction and protein transport.
