In contrast, SPOC1 (white) & 53BP1 (red) are distributed throughout the nucleus in the absence of I-Scel, & partially colocalized in naturally occurring repair foci. After I-SceI cleavage to generate DSBs, SPOC1 & 53BP1 colocalize at distinct foci, including the cleaved DNA adjacent to DNA-bound GFP-LacR.
