Description

CD3 is a 20 kDa transmembrane protein. CD3 complex consists of 4 subdivisons, CD3 gamma, CD3 delta, CD3 epsilon, CD3 zeta, and CD3 eta, and together with TCR alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T-Cell Receptor (TCR) complex. TCR recognizes and bind to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules, its recognition is transmitted to the CD3 complex, resulting in intracellular signal transduction. CD3 compelx acts as a pan-T cell marker for the normal and neoplastic T cells detection. CD3 is frequently use in researches involving Signal Transduction, Immunology, CD Markers, Stem Cell Lines/Markers, and Diabetes.
