Background

OR1B1, also known as Olfactory receptor 1B1, is a 35.3 kDa, 318 amino acid protein that is utilized in the nose's 7-transmembrane domain structure as an olfactory receptor. Current research is examining the link between the protein and the disease neuronitis. The protein interacts with GNAL, OR1Q1, GNGT1, OR10A3, and OR52E6 in signal transduction pathways.
