Alternate Names for OLLAS Epitope Tag Antibody (L2) - BSA Free
Background
OLLAS (Escherichia coli OmpF Linker and mouse Langerin fusion Sequence) epitope tag is a relatively newly discovered tag which is a 14 amino acid sequence residing in the junction between E. coli OmpF protein (OFL/OmpF linker) and mLangerin extracellular domain. OLLAS Epitope Tag antibody (L2), also called MAb L2 or OLLA-2, is a novel rat IgG monoclonal antibody raised against newly identified OLLAS epitope (SGFANELGPRLMGK), with advantages in immunodetection applications. Additionally, this antibody is a rat IgG and can be used for immunostaining of mouse and human samples without direct labelling of fluorochrome or enzyme. Because anti-tag antibodies are mostly generated from mouse and rabbit, the OLLAS Epitope Tag antibody (L2) from rat IgG provides an extra advantage in immunodetection.

FAQs for OLLAS Epitope Tag Antibody (NBP1-06713). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQs).
I am interested in tagging proteins from E. coli and am wondering if ompF cross-reactivity is a problem?
The OLLAS tag is not predicted to cross-react with any portion of ompF.
Can you confirm if you measure the concentration of NBP1-06713 (anti-OLLAS epitope tag)?
Unfortunately, we do not measure the concentration of our OLLAS tag antibody, as the product is provided unpurified.
