1. I am looking for antibodies that distinguish between NXNL1 and NXNL2. There is some overlap of sequence in the middle of the protein, so I would need antibodies generated against the C-terminus. Can you tell me if your antiNXNL2 antibody cross reacts with NXNL1?
   • NXNL1 and NXNL2 only have 32% homology among each other, so the chances that this antibody will cross-react with NXNL1 is fairly slim. However, this antibody was raised against the full-length NXNL2, and we do not epitope map, so there is always a slight possibility that this could recognize a portion of the sequence that is homologous with NXNL1. Given that there is only a few amino acids here and there that are homologous between the two, I believe that cross-reactivity chances are minimal. Unfortunately, we have not yet tested this ourselves for cross-reactivity to NXNL1 and cannot guarantee that there will be no cross reactivity.
