Background

Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are cells that have been genetically reprogrammed to an embryonic stem cell-like state by introducing factors important for the maintenance of embryonic stem cells. These iPSCs are capable of expressing stem cell-specific markers and generating cells characteristic of all three germ layers. The Essential iPSC Factor antibody pack contains highly-specific antibodies to each of these important factors and is useful to validate and characterize newly reprogrammed or cultured iPSCs.
