The cells were fixed, permeabilized & stained for I kappa B alpha a, proteasome b, NF-kappa B c & viewed by confocal fluorescence microscopy individually, or d merged, or e under phase contrast. a, b, c I kappa B alpha & NF-kappa B in RA190 & MG132-treated cells is significantly accumulated in cytoplasm, & apparently co-localized with the proteasome.
