Novus Biologicals just released a blog, as a part of their new website offering. The first blog entry, titled "Approaching Apoptosis With Antibodies," focuses on the role of research-grade antibodies in the study of programmed cell death (apoptosis).

Now equipped with the a new tissue culture facility, Novus Biologicals has the ability to manufacture lysates in-house. The first Novus-made lysates that were launched and marketed this week are RAW 264.7 whole cell T0901317 treated and untreated lysates.

Novus Biologicals, a leading supplier of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) antibodies, recently launched a new HIF Prolyl Hydroxylase 3 antibody (catalog #: NBP1-22574).  HIF prolyl hydroxylase 3 is a prolyl hydroxylase that specifically modifies HIF1-alpha. Classic prolyl hydroxylases are found in the endoplasmic reticulum and modify collagen; whereas HIF is an intracellular protein and the HPH sites do not resemble those modifying collagen.
