Novus Biologicals Announces Acquisition of Imgenex

Acquisition further strengthens Novus™ catalog of more than 200,000 Life Sciences products

The 2013 third quarter Novus Travel Grant winner is Christian Zuppinger of the University of Bern, selected for his excellent review of our Vimentin Antibody (NBP1-40730). Congratulations to Christian Zuppinger, and thanks to all of our participants! Christian has a choice between a $500 travel grant covering airfare and conference registration/32 GB iPad Mini. Participants had to submit a descriptive review and high quality image to be included into the quarterly drawing.

Following the contest run on Facebook from August 19-30, Novus’ newly voted mascot is the chameleon.  With 158 votes the chameleon beat out the narwhal, sea urchin, zebrafish and fruit fly.  The Narwhal came in second place with 89 votes, the sea urchin had 55 votes, the zebrafish had 42 votes and the fruit fly had 19 votes.

All participants were emailed a coupon code for 10% off their next purchase for their participation.  Pamela B. from Duke University was selected for the random drawing for the 32 GB iPod Touch.

Novus Biologicals has launched a contest on Facebook to help pick the new Novus mascot. The mascot choices are the sea urchin, narwhal, chameleon, fruit fly, naked mole rat and zebrafish.

People can participate in the contest by liking the Novus Biologicals Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NovusBiologicals, liking the page and then making their selection. Participants will be entered into a random drawing for a 32GB iPod Touch and be emailed a coupon code for 10% off. The contest runs from August 19-30th.

Novus added an additional 25,000 conjugated antibodies to its catalog which now features more than 30,000 conjugated antibodies.

Novus Biologicals announced a new promotion today for 20% off conjugated antibodies.

Novus is working with the antibody search engine Biobrea, which provides an extensive list of antibodies featured in a number of publications.
