WDR74, also known as WD repeat-containing protein 74, has a 385 amino acid long isoform that is 42 kDa and a short 366 amino acid isoform that is approx. 40 kDa, is located in the nucleolus and known to be required for RNA transcription, processing and/or stability during pre-implantation development and blastocyst formation in mouse. It is associated with Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome and Niemann-Pick disease. This protein has also shown to have an interaction with RGS2, CALR and NUDT3 in blastocyst formation, biological and RNA metabolic processes.
